Since there is a little mime asleep in each and single one of you, I will share with you the recipe of the famous striped cake that I bake every year for my little Didier’s birthday.
White ingredients:
Bleached Flour
White sugar
Baking powder 2 white eggs 500 g of Crisco
A white bowl
A white spatula
Black ingredients:
Black chocolate 500 ml of chocolate milk 2 brown eggs (since there’s no such thing as black eggs)
Black liquorice
A black bowl
A black spatula
Combine the white ingredients in the black bowl.
Combine the black ingredients (except the liquorice) in the white bowl, beat. In turn, pour the white mixture over the black mixture in order to create the desired mime effect. Put in oven. Plug in the flat-iron and watch closely.
When cooked, rely on the smell, ice the whole cake with a thick layer of white icing. With a heated flat-iron oull through the black liquorice in order to turn it into a flat silky ribbon. Make sure you coat the flat-iron abundantly with Crisco so the liquorice can slide without sticking. Lay the black ribbons across the cake in a stripped manor.
Happy birthday little mime!
Grand-mamamime
P.S. It may not taste really good but it isn’t for you anyway, it is for your guests.
